Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I am going to be running the Great North Run in September. This will be a challenge for me but I am raising money for RoadPeace and I'd be so grateful for your support. RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims, supporting victims who were vulnerable road users who have been killed or injured on the roads and support victims who have been injured or killed in car crashes.
This is something that is close to me and my family's hearts. My father was tragically killed in a road accident, leaving my mum alone with three children and one baby (me) on the way. Words will never be enough for what my mum lost that day. She lost her husband but also her best friend and father to her children.
I was never lucky enough to meet my father but by all accounts he sounds like a great laugh and I am very lucky that my mum is still here to share these special memories with me.
She had massive support from family members but for others this is not always possible and with road accidents being so sudden and tragic a lot of victims don't get the help they need. This is why I have chosen RoadPeace as they give this care to those who are struggling to cope with life after the tragic loss and make it a little bit easier for them to carry on.
Thank you all for taking the time to read my story and any donations small or big go a long way to helping the cause for creating safer roads and supporting victims and their families.
All the best,
Faye ❤️
