Breast Cancer Care

Breast Cancer Awareness Month · 7 October 2017
My name is Faye Bailey and I want to share my story with you.
At age 39 I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. When I found the lump I was not going to go to the doctors as I had cysts previously and thought that this would be all it would be.
After having the tumour removed I endured a months worth of radiotherapy every day and I am on the drug Tamoxifen for 5 to 10 years which is causing its own problems.
Even though the diagnosis has brought lots of negatives I would like to use my experience and turn into a positive by raising awareness for women.
Seeing how many women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer every week is unbelievable.
Please, ladies, regularly check your breasts for lumps, swelling or redness and do not hesitate to go to the doctors.
I am raising money for this great cause which is so close to my heart, please donate what ever you can and know that you are helping our future generations.
