Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I and my wife Ayse decided to join couple of activities for British Heart Foundation(BHF). Our cause for supporting BHF begun after the very sad story of Duran Salur who suffered with hearth attack and died at the age of 45 - triggered by the emotion of waiting his son Ali taking a university admission test for the study of higher education in Turkey.
On March the 24th, they went to the test center at the Erciyes University together as a nuclear family in Kayseri. Ali commenced the test at about 10:00 while Duran, the father, waiting along with his wife Ayşe (45) and daughter Dilara (7) in the waiting area. At about 12:30, half an hour before the exam ends Duran went to pick up the car. The last words his wife heard from Duran was that: "I go to take the car. I will meet you in front of the test centre.” Duran suffered a heart attack and catastrophically died at the car park. After the exam Ali, Ayşe and Dilara walked down to the car park without knowing what was happened to their devoted father. When they arrived to the car park they saw a corpse laying on the floor where police officer asking a body bag to cover him up. The unfortunate young student running towards the police when he look at the body "This is my father. What happened to my Dad? Don’t cover the top of my father” cried and burst into tear. His wife got shocked when tragedy struct. 7 years of daughter were watching the adversity at the very end of the car park. The examination of Duran Salur’s by his own son Ali, his wife Ayşe and his daughter Dilara captured by an amateur video which then appeared at the news bulletin in Turkey.
The British Heart Foundation leads great research on the cuases and prevention of heart attacks whose findings not only benefit the British Citizens but all of the countries in the world.
