Losing my father without being able to see him, hold him or hug him one last time was devastating.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, I was not able to attend his cremation or be close to my family through the painful last few weeks.
I lost any chance I had for personal closure, to mourn or say goodbye.
The last weeks/months have been more difficult than what I am about to do now.
My father supported Help for Heroes as do my family and I have seen first hand the great work they do for soldiers who desperately need help.
In my father's honor and for all the fathers who lost sons, daughters, partners. I will be Marching 100 km carrying Infantry weight of 25 kg in 24 hours.
My goal is to say goodbye to my Dad, gain some closure and raise £10'000 for Help for Heroes.
On Thursday 13th May 2021 (Fathers Day in Germany) I will complete the event.
I need your help. We need your help. Please support me in this grueling , painful and demanding challenge.
I know times are hard for us all these days but every single penny you can spare will go directly to Help for Heroes and directly to the people who sacrificed everything for you.
To all those kind individuals who wish to donate money for my fathers passing, the family and I kindly request you make your donation to this amazing charity.
100 km - 25 kg - 24 hours.
