Will was taken from our lives on 1st March 2015 by Meningitis and Encephalitis age 4.

You can read Will's story using the 'in Memory of' link above, in short the disease took his life like a thunderbolt, no early warning signs, no long stay in hospital, no rash. It came and took my boy from my arms within hours.

Will loved to run, at age 2 he ran half a hilly mile with me, at age 3 he walked 2 miles with me, at age 4 I could barely keep up with him down hill!

So I'm going to run, to try and prevent this unforgiving disease taking more lives of children and to raise money the way I know Will would have.

(For those wondering if I already run - Yes. I've ran for the last 4/5 yrs, only running approx 4 miles per week before March 1st. Now I'm focused on training and run 3x per week, furthest as at 06/05/2015 is 10 miles.)
