For families with a child in the hospital making Christmas cookies and decorating the tree is the last thing on their minds right now. I know it was for our family Christmas 2018. I was admitted to the hospital at 30 weeks pregnant with Charlie, Lucy and James on December 1, 2018. I spent 25 days in the hospital in pre-term labor and c-section recovery. I was discharged on Christmas Day 2018. Charlie, Lucy and James were six days old in NICU. Ronald McDonald House Charities provided a room right down the hall from the NICU so that we could spend our first Christmas together as a family. They supported us every day through a month-long NICU stay and will forever have a special place in my heart. 

This year in lieu of a traditional birthday party with friends, we have made a donation to the RMHC CTX Be the Light Campaign. We look forward to celebrating turning TWO in a meaningful way this year. We are inviting you to celebrate with us by supporting the Be The Light Campaign.
