On 24th August 2012, 12 of us will embark on a 5 day climb to trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjoro, the worlds highest free standing mountain in aid of Dig Deep.

 

Dig Deep work to provide sustainable solutions to problems faced by communities in East Africa. They aim to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in disadvantaged communities through supporting or generating projects based on self-reliance.

 

They work alongside the community, local government and other charities and focus on delivering renewable energy projects to provide water, cooking gas and electricity.
