In 2013, at the age of 46 my mum was first diagnosed with Breast cancer which unfortunately spread to her bones, she fought her battle for 6 years until sadly she lost her life to the awful disease. She was a fighter and fought until the end, with a smile on her face and laughing through every challenge that came her way. Losing my mum at 21 was the hardest thing I will ever go through and nothing will ever compare to the loss I feel to this day and forever… I want to run the Marathon to raise money for the charity which is close to our hearts and run this for my MUM.
