Story
On October 2nd, 2022, I’ll be running the London Marathon alongside 50,000 runners from around the world. This will be my fifth of six World Major Marathons, with the last one coming up on March 5th, 2023, in Tokyo. I’m grateful and honored to run the London Marathon on behalf of Brain Research UK.
The brain is the most important and complex organ in the human body. It controls and adjusts our thought, memories, feelings, and emotions; moreover, most important tasks in the human body are related to brain functions and connections. Many of us have to some extent been affected by the impact of neurological problems on the lives of our loved ones. More research studies need to be conducted on the causes of neurological disorders and improved treatments.
The Brain Research UK focuses on a wide range of brain injuries and diseases such as brain tumors, brain and spinal cord injury, and headache and facial pain. An emphasis is placed on understanding which changes in the brain may be associated with these various neurological disorders. Please join me in fundraising for Brain Research UK to increase the extent and quality of life of those with neurological conditions.
