Story
It is well known that I never jog or run unless I am being hunted down by someone or something 😁 However, this lockdown has driven me to do things that I never thought I would do... including running around the deserted but beautiful streets of London. And why not do something meaningful in the process...? My aim is to run and walk (combined) 100 miles before World Refugee Day on June 20 😮 So, if you wish to contribute to this once in a lifetime Farheen-is-running-and-collapsing-around-the-streets-of-London event, please feel free 😊😊
**Coronavirus has impacted all of us in so many ways. Unfortunately, it is particularly dangerous for Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. The available healthcare services in the region are limited and already severely overstretched. MAP is working alongside local partners, doing what they can to help in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. But with your support, we can do more.Together2Palestine is an event aiming to virtually make it from the UK to Palestine by the 20th June; World Refugee Day. This is an event to symbolise unity and solidarity even when we cannot physically get together, and cover a whopping distance of 2190 miles between now and the 20th June, to show support for Palestinians and raise vital funds for MAP's work.**
