Story

Hey Everyone!

I'll be walking every day in February, covering a minimum of 12k steps or 6 miles a day, raising funds for (MAP) Medical Aid for Palestinians who provide healthcare to those in Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Lebanon.

In the UK we often bemoan the inefficiencies of the NHS but the intrinsic value of a universal healthcare system cannot be denied. It should not be a privilege reserved for the wealthy, but an inalienable right of all people. The ongoing occupation and oppression of Palestinians has had a devastating effect on their access to medical treatment.  Palestinian patients routinely see their access to medical care denied or delayed by Israeli authorities.  Many of these patients are children. For them, a simple fever can be the difference between life and death.

I ask you to please make a donation, however big or small. Perhaps instead of buying that morning coffee, you can help make a difference to someone's life. Your generous donation will help ensure the people of Palestine have access to desperately needed medical attention and in the process, restore their dignity.

Thank you in advance for your kind donations xx
