Story
Fantasy Football Scout is delighted to confirm that the third instalment of its Charity Cup will take place on Sunday 28 July 2019.
The first two competitions proved extremely popular back in February and November 2018, with around 80 players across nine different teams competing to lift the illustrious FFS Charity Cup and, more importantly, raising around £2,000 for the Melanoma Research Foundation and for Campaign Against Living Miserably.
This time we'll be raising money for the Stroke Association. Last April Joe, a much-loved member of FFS and the wider fantasy football community, suffered a bleed on his brain. Thankfully, after a fairly hellish month, he is gradually returning to normal.
The Stroke Association are the UK's leading stroke charity, providing support to help people rebuild their lives after stroke.
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
The Charity Cup will be held in the morning at Whittington Park Astro Pitch meet at 9:15am
