Family Parties is a family focused business. The majority of our customers have children, and therefore many of our customers will have had a personal experience of SCBU, or an indirect experience of SCBU through friends. 

On occasions Family Parties run events to promote our business. We don't charge a penny for these events as we just want you to come and try our products and take a flier. However, we became aware that parents had the expectation they needed to pay, after all, nothing in this day and age is ever for free. So, rather than make money from these events ourselves, we've decided we'd like to team up with SCBU, and ask parents for a suggested donation of £1 per child. We then pass every single penny to SCBU, where they can use it towards medical equipment such as incubators and ventilators, and fold out beds so Dads can stay with Mum rather than having to go home after visiting hours. 

Every penny adds up and makes a real difference. 

A fold out bed costs around £800. Bedding for that bed costs about £200 a year. A ventilator costs around £17,000 with attachments costing about £100 per baby. £1 at a time, we can help to fund these items reducing stressful times for babies, mums, dads, families as a whole, and nurses too.
