Story
Summer 2021 is just around the corner and what better way to spend a sunny day than by doing a Nature Trail with your family.
We will provide a beautifully designed Nature Trail checklist and a little goodie bag.
You can complete your Nature Trail wherever you would like. Maybe you have a favourite walk or nature spot. Or maybe you wanted an excuse to try somewhere new ... we completed it along the Tarka Trail near Fremington but this can be done anywhere.
Little ones: Grab your parents and get them involved on your Nature Trail.
Grown ups: Please send me a message or email tawcommunitywelcome@gmail.com and I will get your Nature Trail packs to you.
We are suggesting a donation of £5 but please donate anything you can.
The idea behind this fundraiser is to encourage families to get together and to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. With the year that we have had, it is nice to finally be able to get together and enjoy this sunshine. We would also like to raise some awareness of the project we are doing.
The ultimate goal for this project is £10,000 by the end of 2021. With this money we are hoping to offer resettlement to a refugee family and support them to start their new lives in North Devon. Taw Community Welcome is made up of a group of people from across Devon with support provided by The Pickwell Foundation. It is a way for us to be directly involved in helping refugees to resettle in the UK. Please support us in any way that you can on this journey; see you along the way and at the finish line.
