To celebrate their 50th Anniversary, Family Fund are challenging their supporters to take on some fifty-themed fundraising.
So, this year I will be climbing 50 mountains to raise money to support the charity’s work. I’m aiming to raise £2500, which will help the charity to make a difference to even more low-income families with disabled and seriously ill children. Any donation, big or small, is much appreciated.
I’ve already reached the top of 19 peaks - and by the end of the challenge I will have climbed over 40,000 metres – roughly 5 times the height of Mount Everest!
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. Now more than ever, the work that Family Fund do is vital, as demand for support has continued grow amidst the pandemic and cost of living crisis.
