CHANGING LIVES IN CHALLENGING TIMES.

Help us raise money for London City Mission’s day care centre for homeless people near Waterloo Station. It welcomes up to 100 guests a day, and during the pandemic it continues to be a refuge from life on the streets through the love and patient care of dedicated staff.

Paul, Isabella, Anneliese and Tom are taking part in London City Mission’s Big Winter Sleepout 2020 on 21^st November to raise money for the centre!!  Normally, this would be held on a London street, but due to the pandemic the event has been ‘virtualised’ - so we will be sleeping outside in our back garden and staying in touch with others via zoom.

Your kind donations will help the immediate needs of homeless people who urgently need support. The Webber Street centre not only provides food and clothing, it also offers a range of other services, including access to a nurse, a benefits advisor and social activities.

Overall, the centre provides practical and physical support for its guests as well as seeking to meet their emotional and spiritual needs to help restore some of the dignity that life on the streets has taken form them.
