Story
I've always wanted to deliver aid to those less fortunate, living in a world miles apart from mine. Whilst we have big dreams and aspirations for the future, it’s easy to forget that so many others are struggling to just get through every day - to simply survive.
Being amongst those who have so little but are so incredibly grateful and thankful is a humbling experience, inspiring us to reflect on our own mindsets and attitudes to life.
I'd really appreciate anything you can spare to help me reach my target to go on the deployment. I'll be documenting my experience and showing you what our money is going towards!
As our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) once said, “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain that produced seven ears, each ear having a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies (the reward) for whom He wills. Allah is All-Embracing and All-Knowing [2:261].”
Essentially...“Charity does not reduce wealth.“[Muslim].
