Myself that’s Faiza along with my husband Waqar have come together with the family and friends of the late Nazir Awan and joined forces with Human Appeal UK to raise £5000 towards the construction of an entire school costing £200,00 in the deprived and rural area of Bhimber in Kashmir, which will educate 530 underprivileged children including orphans.

Each of the 16 classrooms across the 3 floors of the school building will cater for the education of 30-35 children from the ages of 4-14 for a lifetime insha’Allah. The school will also have a principal office, staff room, finance office, toilet facilities, large playground, and prayer space.

We firmly believe in the importance of education being a means of lifting children out of poverty and this providing a brighter future for children this deprived area of Kashmir in Pakistan.

Regular feedback throughout the construction phase of the school will be given, culminating with a final project completion report and a visit by us to see the school in operation insha’Allah.
