A baby loss charity providing support for bereaved families and bereavement training for healthcare professionals. One of our greatest contributions has been the creation and funding of the Abi cooling cot which allows parents valuable time to spend with their baby before saying goodbye.

Story

Our baby girl was sadly born sleeping on 5th June 2017, she fought for a long 10 weeks after initially being told she only had a 1% chance of survival. This has been the most horrific time of our lives.

Abigail's footsteps opened a bereavement suite at Medway hospital last year called Abigail's Place. We stayed in this suite for 2 nights after the birth of our precious Faith, this allowed us to spend some time with our baby girl and make memories with her, the only thing we now have. We now won't have the what it's and regrets of not doing something with our girl. This also made this whole time that slight little bit easier.

One of mine and Tom's favourite places in the Uk is Brighton and it is somewhere we would love to relocate to in the future. So Tom has come up with the crazy idea of him and a friend walking from our home address to Brighton Marina. This is a walk of nearly 70 miles which will take around 23 hours.

We want to fundraise for this charity so they can continue to help people not just in our local area but maybe further afield who may find themselves in the same devastating situation.

The boys will be leaving on the evening of 20th October 2017 and will hopefully be arriving in Brighton on 21st October 2017.
