1.2 Challenge #Take2
Campaign by OCD UK (RCN 1103210)
The 1.2 challenge is a fun and simple walking challenge to walk an extra 1.2 miles every day for 30 days. This will help boost participants physical & mental well-being. Funds raised by the challenge will ensure we can be there for the 1.2% with OCD.

Story

Both myself and my brother have been affected by the trials and tribulations and different forms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder throughout most of our lives - so all throughout October, I'll be fundraising for OCD-UK and raising awareness of this unique and challenging mental health condition. I hope you'll join me in supporting the great work of OCD-UK in supporting us in treatment and recovery.

I've chosen to take on the 1.2 Challenge, representing the 1.2% of the population affected by OCD. It consists of an (extra) 1.2 miles added onto your daily exercise routine, whether it's a walk, run or cycle, for the 31 days of October.

You can find more information about the charity and their work at https://www.ocduk.org/, and more information on the 1.2 challenge at https://www.ocduk.org/get-involved/fundraising/walking/1point2challenge/
