I am running the Jane Tomlinson 10k run on Sunday 8 July to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my beloved Dad who passed away on the 13 July 2011 after a very short yet very brave & dignified battle with pancreatic cancer.

 

My Dad & family were very touched by the support of the Macmillan nurses not only in a caring capacity but also with the practical, medical & emotional advice they gave us.

 

Over a million people have had a cancer diagnosis and one in three of us will be diagnosed at some point in our lives. Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer and I am sure my Dad will be very proud of me for running this race in his memory aswell as raising money for such a great charity.
