Between 3 March and 3 April 2021, I am pledging to walk a collective total of 300 miles and am hoping to raise money to help rebuild homes for Syrian families who have been displaced due to the conflict in the country ongoing since 2011. To help give you an idea of what 300 miles looks like - it is equivalent to the distance between Leicester and Edinburgh or 600,000 steps in 30 days.

Many of those who have been displaced due to the Syrian conflict are living in makeshift shelters and are completely exposed to the elements which can be gruelling and risky, particularly during extremely cold winters. The project aims to prioritise giving homes to disabled people and widows with children. 

Each house is made out of brick , would be 38m², and would consist of two main rooms, a kitchen, a washroom and a small yard. The cost of building a house is £1,200 and if we could raise money to  make a difference to just  one family that would be an incredible achievement - any more would be a bonus.
