Story
On Thursday 30th November
we will be taking part in ‘Be a Superhero for the Day’! The purpose of the day is to help raise funds
for the tiniest patients at Milton Keynes University Hospital. All money raised
will go towards a new BabyLeo incubator on the neonatal unit at the Hospital.
To raise awareness of World Prematurity Day (nationally on
17th Nov) we will be holding a non-uniform day, where you can have
the chance to dress up as a superhero.
We are very mindful that the children have recently taken
part in Children in need, and as the aim is to support the charity, we do not
want anyone to feel obliged to buy a superhero costume. Your child could make a
mask, wear a cape or upcycle an old t-shirt just as a few ideas. If you choose for your child to come as there
own superhero in their own clothes, we will have masks that the children can
take home to decorate leading up to the event so that everyone can get involved
if they would like to.
We are raising the profile as well as money for the charity
so by taking part alone we are working hard for this incredible charity! We have also set up a just giving page to
support the fundraising effort if you chose to donate, alternatively a donation
can be handed to the class teacher on the morning if you wish.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
