Campaign by Global One 2015 (RCN 1158310)
Supporting displaced Rohingya women and children in Coxs Bazaar, Bangladesh; distributing Dignity Kits, Box4Life, visiting health points and running activities in the child friendly zones to restore dignity and empowerment to Rohingya refugees.

Story

GO are sending a group of volunteers to Bangladesh in November, to support Rohingya women and children in Rohingya camps. We currently have 4 permanent health clinics on pieces of land in Coxs Bazaar. Our goal is to build 2 more. Our volunteers will work on these health clinics, helping camp doctors to provide valuable emergency care treatment, immunisations, ante natal and postnatal care and diagnoses and treatments of diseases. Planting and gardening in the surrounding areas will also take place, in order to encourage a more communal environment. We will also be distributing Dignity Kits to women and girls, and Box4Life for new mothers and babies. There will be activities in the child friendly zone we shall build to provide a safe and fun environment for children and orphans suffering from trauma.
