Story

For the last 5 years, team Faffalot, a group of ageing rugby players (mainly now ex-rugby players) and others, have been doing coast2coast cycle rides for various charities. This year we have decided to change the format of the ride slightly and make it a club2club rather than coast2coast. We will be leaving from Preston Grasshoppers on 27th May and finishing the ride at Bridlington Rugby Club on 29th May - approximately 170 miles.

The ethos behind the team name Faffalot will continue with the first stop after setting off being just half a mile away at the Ibis Hotel where we will be having breakfast. We will then head off towards Tosside for a well deserved lunch break - this sets the tone for the ride where some cyclists have been known to put on weight over the 3-days of cycling instead of losing it!

This year we are fundraising for Rosemere Cancer Foundation which 'supports world class cancer treatment throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria'. For further information see link below.
