Story
The cost of living crisis seems to be getting worse week by week, with mortgages skyrocketing, the pound plummeting and inflation - particularly for food, energy and other essentials - hitting huge heights.
I had hoped to run 54.4km (12.2km more than a marathon) on 6th November in support of the Trussell Trust to reflect the amount a millionaire waz going to save annually with tax and NIC changes, but having done a half marathon to see if it would be feasible, I'm now injured.
To justify the donations already made, I will live off £25 of food shopping for a week whilst doing all of my regular exercise. I chose £25 because for a family with two adults and two children, a week’s worth of food alone costs an average £99, according to the Office for National Statistics.
I'll start on 7th November and will update you on my journey throughout. Thank you so much to anyone and everyone that donates and shares the page. Honestly, every little helps!
