The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

In recent years I along with a group of friends have undertaken a number of sponsored walks in memory of John Mapp and Meira Richards - parents to two close friends, that were lost to Alzheimer’s. We have walked on average 26 miles each time and were looking forward to doing this again in the summer, but given current restrictions that can’t be done. So inspired by the 2.6 challenge
(and Capt Tom) I intend to walk c800 laps of my back garden this weekend - which equates to 26 miles - for the benefit of Alzheimer’s research. In keeping with the superhero theme I will be dressed as Superman!!
