Story
Why do we do this stuff to ourselves? Are we mad?! Quite possibly. Whatever the reason, we know we're doing it for a good cause. You never know, we might just enjoy it along the way too.
A great challenge: To walk 100 KM in 30 hours across the South Downs...! There's four in the group and we all have to make the full 100 KM (how good are you at giving piggy-backs Sean?). No rest for the wicked.
The default bumf is pretty reassuring: "Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity."
That means it doesn't go towards our "hipflask-for-the-walk" fund, we'll have to supply that ourselves I guess.
Dig deep friends, family, supporters, fans, customers and suppliers - we're going to look pretty silly if we don't make it, so donate and add to the pressure!
Sincere thanks to anyone who is kind enough to make a donation, no matter how big or small...
