Story
On May 21st I will be running my first half marathon in a bid to raise funds for Exmouth RNLI Lifeboat Station.
Born and raised in Exmouth and as a keen water user, I am aware of the phenomenal work the RNLI do to keep us all safe through their 24-hour search and rescue service. Since their creation, the RNLI has helped save over 142,000 lives that could otherwise have been lost at sea. As well as saving lives, they also help to educate, influence, and supervise people to become safer water users.
It costs in the region of £250k per year to run and maintain the service in Exmouth, and the RNLI rely on the generous donations of others to keep up their amazing work. Please support the RNLI of our local community in Exmouth by helping me fundraising for them.
All donations are greatly appreciated and could potentially help save the life of someone you know and love, should they ever need help at sea.
