Story
Exmouth Food Bank was set up in 2012 by a group of local churches working in collaboration with the Salvation Army. It is run entirely by a team of volunteers who provide supplies to anyone experiencing food poverty in and around Exmouth.
As we are affiliated with the Salvation Army they provide us with treasury and banking support. The donation you make today will be ring fenced within the Salvation Army account and will be used entirely to support the work of Exmouth Food Bank.
Since 2019 demand for help from the Food Bank has doubled. In 2023 we supplied 4513 food parcels that fed 8195 people. Many of those currently seeking help are families who are using a food bank for the first time. Often one or more of the adults in the family are working but, due to the spiralling increase in the cost of living, they are struggling to make ends meet.
We really value your generosity and can assure you that every pound helps.
