On Saturday 10 July, Team members from Exmoor Medical Centre
in Somerset and Lyn Health in Devon are jointly stepping out on an 11 mile social walk.  The cross country route takes in some of the
beautiful surroundings of Exmoor, which by its nature contains a number of
hills and dales, and represents quite a challenging environment!

Exmoor Medical Centre, already a practice within Symphony
Healthcare Services (SHS) will be joined by Lyn Health Centre who hope to join
SHS this summer. SHS has a strong team ethos and encourage communication
between practices socially as well as in the workplace and both practices hope
that this will be the first of many events to come. We see it as a fabulous opportunity for us as a Practice team to not only spend time together in a safe way, but to promote our own health and wellbeing, too.

Our chosen charity is The Compassionate Friends and we hope
to raise money and awareness for this leading UK bereavement charity which
offers peer support to anyone who has lost a child, grandchild or sibling.
