For the first time in my life I will be competing in various running and torture events throughout the year in an attempt to raise funds for SAMH. I would never have contemplated taking part in these events before and I’m doing so now simply because I have a cause.

Please help me raise funds for SAMH, your money WILL help a poor soul break free from mental health problems. Donating now will keep SAMH working and help them save lives on a daily basis. By donating you’re helping that individual take an entirely different path, a path leading to a long life, a life that without help may end way too soon.

In memory of my beautiful niece Leigh; I love you and will never forget you. I will do all I can to help prevent others from taking that short path.

To my sister Jacque (pictured right); I know nothing in this world can bring Leigh back, nothing can alleviate the horrible pain you are going through. But I do this in a hope that other parents can be spared the same pain you experience every minute of every day. I love you. xxxx
