Story
Thanks for visiting our page. We are raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research in memory of my mum and Fraser's granny, Janette Cameron. In 1986, while still at school, a friend and I walked from the Isle of Skye to Crieff in 10 days, a distance of almost 200 miles, following the famous drover's road to raise money for the Tayside Body Scanner Appeal. Thirty three year's later, I am up for the challenge again, this time accompanied by my son, Fraser (aged 8) a passionate 'munro bagger' who is walking the last 100 miles with me. We both think getting out in the Scottish hills is a great way of keeping the heart beating and the blood flowing. The walk starts on Sunday 4th of August in Glenbrittle on Skye and passes through seven great mountain ranges. Fingers crossed we will reach our final destination -the 'beer tent/sweetie stand' at the Crieff Highland Games 15 days later! We would greatly appreciate your support to help us raise as much as we can.
