Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi guys,

As retired members of Dingwall Swimming Club we have decided to take on the challenge of swimming the length, yes length, of Loch Ness to raise money for the Highland Hospice. Our swimming coach and mum to Laura, Ewan and Kim, sadly passed away a few years ago and the Highland Hospice played a great part in supporting her and her family throughout and after her illness.

We will be doing our swim as a relay, starting at the Fort Augustus end of the loch and finishing (hopefully!!!) at Dores beach. Due to the weather we can't set an exact date but we are hoping that by the middle of August the sizzling Scottish sun will have heated the loch up to a reasonable temperature (haha!) and we will be able to swim before the end of the month.

Please give generously and remember, if we get eaten by Nessie you will be able to sell our story and make millions!

Thank you very much,

Kim, Laura, Lucy, Alison and Ewan x
