Story
I know what you're thinking, Evie you can't run. I am also thinking I might be a little bit crazy.
On September 12th 2021 I will be taking on the biggest challenge of my life and running the Brighton Marathon. This is something I have always wanted to do and I thought why not rise to the challenge! I am extremely nervous, but I am determined to make myself and others proud and raise money for an amazing cause in the process.
I will be fundraising for the Evelina Children's Hospital. As a former patient of the hospital this charity means a lot to me and the work they do for children is incredible. For those who do not know at the age of 9 I was diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy. I would visit the Evelina Childrens Hospital to meet with the consultants and have tests. It was a very daunting experience, but the Evelina Hospital made me feel comfortable and has always been a great facility for young people.
At Evelina London they help children and young people live their best lives today and tomorrow. Every pound raised goes towards taking care of sick children and improving their care. I would love to be able to give back even just a little something to say Thank you.
Any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated, whether that be a donation or even sharing my page to spread the word. My target is to raise £1000!! It is going to be tough but I shall keep you all updated on my training and progress towards the big day.
