Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to go to The Gambia with Football 4 Peace at the University of Brighton, in order to deliver sessions to underprivileged children, developing life skills and values. This programme changes the children’s lives by providing them with opportunities they have never had before!
The F4P project is a way of bringing differing communities together through a variety of sports and aspects of outdoor education. Working in areas of the world that suffer from cross-community conflict, political disorder and social breakdown. I am extremely grateful to be a part of the great work they do!
The values based curriculum we deliver focuses on developing life skills in countries such as the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Germany, England, Jordan, South Korea, Ghana, South Africa and The Gambia, and focuses on developing qualities such as respect, responsibility, inclusion, neutrality, equality. We are attempting to eradicate conflict and educate both children and teachers to make sport a positive outlet for everyone!
