Story
The largest participation in our charities history and its all by these amazing fundraisers meeting and encouraging each other virtually!
Using the money raised by this challenge the charity hopes to grant a wish to send another family on holiday to places such such as Disney so they can make some magical memories later in the year. This is particularly important as most of these children and their families have been shielding and isolated for nearly a year now due to Covid.
The Mount Everest Virtual Challenge will take 35 fundraisers and their families through an incredible 40miles (64 km) journey to the summit of the highest peak in the world.
Each time they complete a distance-based exercise such as running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc they will advance along the map of Mount Everest and will be able to see each others progress.
The fundraisers can choose how difficult that they make this challenge and work on their personal fitness goals while raising money for the wonderful children that Harley Jae South support. They could run the 40 miles in one go or choose to break it up for long weekend walks with their children and dogs throughout this current lockdown.
Thank you to them all for their enthusiasm and positivity making a very dreary New Year into a positive one not just for themselves but for the people that Harley Jae South support.
Wishing you all well and thank you for your kindness . x
