Story
Last year, Evelyn heard about a charity that provides wigs for young people who have lost their hair through illness. At that moment she decided there and then that she wanted to grow her hair and donate it to someone who “needs it more than me”.
The Little Princess Trust is a fantastic charity so Evelyn is hoping her haircut will raise some money to support them.
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, Little Princess Trust provide a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. They also fund research into childhood cancer however, the Trust relies solely on the efforts of fundraisers.
After Evelyn decided she wanted to cut her hair we embraced the #letitgrow and aimed to do the big cut for her 6th birthday in February 2021 however this was cancelled due to Lockdown. Since the hairdressers have opened, we have been inundated with “When am I going to get my hair cut?” so the big chop has been scheduled in for 7th May 2021!
Evelyn would like to “raise lots of money” and has a personal target to raise £100 by getting her haircut however, it costs Little Princess Trust £550 to make and provide just one wig so we would like to set that as our target and surprise Evelyn with how much she has raised.
We would be so grateful for any donation that you can make to this amazing charity.
