Story
Hi there!
I am grateful for being able to wake up every day and do mundane things. I am grateful for my body that carries me through the challenges of life. And while I am extremely grateful for all of it, not everyone is as lucky as I am today.
As I participate in the Lake District Ultra Challenge and walk 100km, I hope to raise funds and awareness for RNOH - The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity.
Every year, between 250,000 and 500,000 people suffer a spinal cord injury worldwide. RNOH treats over 150,000 patients annually, patients coming from all over the world, and is vital for many patients with complex conditions including spinal cord injuries, bone cancer, and others. The RNOH Charity plays a crucial role in rebuilding lives when individuals face life-changing injuries and conditions and need your support to improve healthcare for all its patients. They provide not only physiotherapies and surgeries but also essential mental health support.
By supporting this cause, we can help improve healthcare for all patients at RNOH. Together, we can create better environments that encourage patients to keep going and never give up.
As I embark on this 100km trek in the Lake District Ultra Challenge, I walk with the aim of giving someone out there the chance to walk again too. Every step we take can make a tremendous change and improve someone's life.
Please join me in making a difference today. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of those who need it most.
Thank you for your support!
