Story
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
My grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s almost 5 years ago, which has recently in the past two years gotten much worse, she’s always confused, not knowing who people are, not knowing what she’s doing. And recently gotten herself a broken wrist! She’s now at a point where she is no good living alone, and it isn’t safe for her. And we all miss her greatly x
Grandma has always been very close to me, I spent a lot of my time as child at her house especially when I began secondary school. I always remember calling her my bestest friend❤️ Alzheimer’s causes a decline of brain functioning, it affects memory, thinking skills and other mental abilities. Currently, there is no treatment for Alzheimer’s , I’m trying to raise this money for the ongoing research that Alzheimer’s society are doing. It would mean a lot if you could share or donate to this charity which is so close to me and my family.
