Story
1 in 2 women and 1 in 3 men will develop cancer at some point in their life, a terrifying statistic for anybody to read.
Further to this, around 1800 children every year in the UK will develop cancer with most diagnoses in children under 5 years old.
Having felt the impact of this disease throughout my family, I’m trying to raise as much money as possible to fight it.
In completing the Birmingham half marathon on Sunday 01 May and the Edinburgh full marathon on 29 May, I hope to raise funds for the charity, children with cancer.
If you can donate anything, big or small, it would be very much appreciated.
At Children with Cancer UK we actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. Our vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.
