Evan's Seizing the opportunity to do some good for epilepsy

Seizing the opportunity to do some good for epilepsy · 1 September 2020
Hello my name is Evan Molloy. I am a visually impaired GB JUDO fighter and I have epilepsy.
With everything going on in the world at the moment and competitions being cancelled I thought it was an amazing opportunity to do some good for a charity that means so much to me.When I decided I wanted to set myself the challenge of running 100 miles in a month I thought it would be fun to get more people involved to try and raise as much awareness as possible.
I think that it's important for people to have a bit more of an understanding of why the charity I've chosen is the epilepsy society.
I have had epilepsy since I was 4 years old and like most epileptics I have had my ups and downs with the condition. Over the past 5-6 years I have had multiple stints in hospital trying to figure out where my seizures were coming from but could never get any real answers, Until we got put in touch with the amazing people at the epilepsy society. They helped me get my condition under control.
I am currently 7 months seizure free this challenge is the least I can dots try and show my appreciation for what everyone at the epilepsy society has done for me.
