In January, our dear friend and colleague, lost her baby daughter to meningitis, here is her message:

On the 31st January 2015 our daughter Eva lost her battle against meningitis which was caused by a severe streptococcus B bacterial infection. We will never forget our precious time with our daughter and feel it is only right to honour our memories of her by supporting Meningitis Now.

Eva's parents set up a fund, and have so far raised a substantial amount of money for Meningitis Now, we have held several fundraising events in school for pupils to donate but now it is our turn to go a bit further (well 10k to be precise!)

Staff taking part are Karyn Phelps, Karen McDonald, Hannah Thomas, Emma Kiss, Sara Evans, Martyn Wiltshire, Sophie Bowen, and Matthew Doherty.
