Jon Ola Sand famously said 'take it away', and the pandemic did just that to this year's Eurovision Song Contest. But as the proverb says 'where there is strife, there is pride', and we're fully bringing Pride to Eurovision.

On Friday 15th May we'll be joined by The Vixens (Tia Kofi, Dixie Delight and Woe Addams) to host the Eurovision Drag Contest, featuring a star studded celebrity jury and a host of incredible drag queens performing some of the most iconic Eurovision song from it's rich history. Not only that but we have ICONIC UK Eurovision entrant and star of the West End, Lucie Jones, doing a special interval performance!

This fantastic event will be in aid of the Albert Kennedy Trust as part of The Two Brewers' ongoing fundraising campaign. AKT is a charity supporting young LGBTQ+ people aged 16-25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.

Coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+ can lead to young people being made homeless. This is the reality for 77% of the young people akt supports. Sometimes families are unaccepting and abusive. The locks changed. Possessions destroyed. akt exists to support these young people and can offer safety and hope in an open and accepting environment. We help with housing and also to help them celebrate their identity.
