Jane and I have recently had a wonderful baby girl called Elizabeth. We didn't have an entirely straight forward time but were supported throughout by some truly amazing staff in maternity services at UHSM (University Hospital South Manchester).

We can't easily sum up the exceptional care we experienced from so many staff, some of whom stayed well beyond the end of their shift to 'see us through' despite having worked flat out through a tough 12 hr shift!  We would like to give a little back and so I'm going to do my first 10k run with proceeds going to the 'one in a million' fund, which is a registered charity at UHSM which is dedicated to providing ever better services to mothers and babies! Please help support me!!
