Story
Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Next year is a very special one for me as I will be having my Bar-Mitzvah. So this year I have decided to do something special in preparation. I will be walking the length of Hadrian's walk from the North Sea to the Irish Sea with my dad on a camping trip that will take a whole week!
I have learned that Hadrian was one of the greatest enemies of the Jewish people and that's why my dad said it would be a good thing for us to walk along his wall and raise money for a Jewish charity as a way of showing that he could not stop us being Jews like he tried to do.
I wanted to support the Jewish Blind and Disabled charity because I think it is a great cause as it gives blind and disabled people their own place to live and help with living a life like everybody else.
I think it must be very difficult being blind or disabled, as many of the things I can easily do, like going for a walk, playing games in the garden or just running about with my friends are much harder to do for them.
I also have a friend at school who is disabled and I always feel disappointed that he cannot always join in with us all the time.
Hopefully my charity raising will help a little bit
So please dig deep as you can and donate now.
Lots of love
Ethan
