I had a job, a life and a place to call home until one day in February 2008. I tried to hang on to my home and the life I knew but twelve months later, I was still trying. In the end, circumstances yanked the end of rope I had held onto out of my hand. With nowhere else to go, I was referred to St.Mungo's and they supported me in dealing with the loss of property, confidence and sense of direction.With opportunities to continue with my music, creative writing, readings and art exhibitions since being there, my confidence has been boosted as a result. That is why I am taking up a piece of rope and trusting that this time, I will not have to let go unless I am ready to. When I have come down the 469 feet tower for the good cause that is the work done by St. Mungo's, there will be a new leaf turned- a nation builder re-born.
