Fundraising for University of Dundee
Story
I am one of the Parkinson's researchers at the University of Dundee. I am also a clinician and see people living with PD in my clinic.
Parkinson's disease (PD) is the fastest growing neurodegenerative condition and while we can treat symptoms there is no cure. Every single week 30 people are being diagnosed with PD in Scotland.
We need to expedite research into PD to gain a better understanding of its causes on a molecular level and leverage this new knowledge for finding new treatment strategies and ideally a cure!
