On Sunday 2nd October 2022 I'm running the London Marathon for Young Lives Vs Cancer to raise awareness & cash for this amazing charity.  

My motivation is easy... a year ago my good friends youngest daughter got the shocking diagnosis of Leukaemia. The news was devastating for the family, their friends, school & community. 

Young Lives vs Cancer were the first charity to contact my friend only days after the news. They immediately supported her to get support & help needed every step of the way. 

Thankfully my friends gorgeous girl is doing really well, so we are all hopeful for a cancer-free future very soon. 

Running the marathon is only a few hours of challenge and grit to get to the finish line, but having Cancer is a longer battle.  Young Lives vs Cancer helps millions of families like my friends - so they need our donations to keep this charity doing the fab job they do!
