We support children's intensive care to help critically ill children & parents

Story

My daughter Emily and I are taking part in the Children Of St. Mary's Intensive Care (COSMIC) Walk on Sunday 14th July in memory of our special baby boy Harrison who at almost 5 months old passed away at St Mary's Paediatric Intensive Care Unit on 14th August 2012.

The treatment that Harrison received at St Mary's was amazing and I was truly touched by the kindness and care of the staff on the Unit. I believe that despite the very sad ending, Harrison was in the best possible hands during his 4 week stay and that they did everything they possibly could. For this I will always be so grateful.

Please sponsor Emily and myself as we have never done anything like this before and we would really appreciate your support! Your money will go directly to funding research for the Unit and to help support families with a child in Intensive Care (COSMIC actually paid for our Hotel in Paddington during the last few days of Harrison's life, and they contributed to his funeral costs).

Thank you so much for reading this. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
